TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Custom orders
a. Orders will only commence once a 50% or full payment is received.
b. If an item is supplied by customer for engraving, a deposit is required.
c. Once the deposit is received, artwork will commence and will be emailed to you via a jpeg file for your comments / approval.
d. While every endeavour is taken, Everything Laser cannot be responsible for spelling (of names or places etc.). Refer disclaimer.
e. Once artwork is approved work, order will be put into the cutting queue. Lead time is advised upon receipt of the order.
f. Cleaning and assembling of orders are by special arrangement. Fee is 3% of order total.
g. Everything Laser does not hold itself responsible or liable for any infringement on copyright items which customers have given us to engrave or copy on their behalf. - Invoicing and Payments
a. Invoices will be emailed for custom orders, for a 50% deposit.
b. No work will be undertaken until the deposit is received.
c. NO cash deposits at the bank and NO cash deposits via the ATM are accepted.
d. A handling fee of 17% will be charged should a cash deposit be made, which is payable upon collection of the item.
e. All work undertaken is strictly COD. The balance of the order is to be paid upon collection and/or delivery.
f. Items ordered will not be released without full payment.
g. Items remain the property of Everything Laser until such time full payment is received.
h. All custom orders are invoiced for a deposit of 50%. If deposit is not received within 30 days, order is deemed as cancelled. - Collection and Delivery
a. Collection is to take place during Everything Lasers stipulated business hours. Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
b. Saturdays are by appointment only.
c. Delivery costs are charged according to area of delivery, and volumetric size and weight. (via Courier It). Customer is welcome to arrange for own courier to collect, however we cannot guarantee correct packaging. (see point 5.
d. Items not collected within 30 days from time the order is ready, will be sold to defray expenses or destroyed. - Postage and Courier
a. Although every precaution is taken when posting or couriering a parcel Everything Laser cannot be held responsible for any damages or breakages or missing items once the parcel been handed over to a third party. Customers may make use of registered post or insurance on their parcels at their own cost.
b. We are based in Pinetown, KZN and courier Nationwide. - Refund Policy
a. We will fully refund your paid amount so long as materials have not been ordered nor work has begun on your project. Once materials are ordered and/or work begins, we expect full payment and cannot offer a refund. We also do not accept RETURNS for personalised products. If a product you received from us is faulty, we will work with you to make it right to the best of our abilities.
b. Once the order is removed from the premises that you have signed for, said order cannot be returned.
DISCLAIMER Customer is responsible for proof-reading and approving the final artwork. Everything Laser is not liable for errors in a final product caused by any of the following reasons: misspelling, incorrect graphics, incorrect grammar, incorrect punctuation, finished product size, incorrect colour/material/finish selections, or overlooked details not memorialised in the details of the quote/order when the customer is provided a proof and provides acceptance (via any form, including, email or whatsapp text). Verbal approval is not accepted. Please be mindful that your order is a custom and made-to-order, thus once the product is completed, no more changes can be made. A critically important element to the laser, and related, products and services we provide are quality vector graphics. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide quality graphics in a
proper format, such as .EPS, .SVG, or .AI (among other vector formats). If the customer cannot provide an acceptable vector format file, then Graphic Design services will be required. Set up fees will apply at R500 per hour or part thereof. RAW MATERIALS: It is also important to note that while we strive for excellence, use quality machinery and techniques, and utilise quality raw materials, there is still room for imperfections which are normal and not considered faulty.
- WOOD:
o Products made from wood may have minor bark inclusions, sap spots, stress marks, knots, splinters, burn marks, or other expected imperfections. Due to the nature of wood movement, shrinkage and expansion are possible. Wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces are alike to start with, while the same wood growing in different locales can vary greatly even though it is the exact same species. Wood movement is normal and should be expected in all cases. Also the finish may have minor blemishes, brush strokes, ridges, foreign artefacts, and such as they are applied by hand. Finishes also have different characteristics which impact their durability, look (depth, tone) and feel.
o It is the customer’s full responsibility to memorialize specific finishing requests in writing on the FINAL quote/estimate/invoice. - METALS, STAINLESS STEEL/ALUMINIUM/MILD STEEL,
o Powder coated or Anodised steel might have quality variations or flaws under the coating resulting in slight colour variations, minor engraving lines may show, We provide a service to engrave only and do not warranty the product.
o Everything Laser cannot cut metal, only engrave. In order to get an engraving that is visible and “pop’s” we use a titanium based paste that is fused to the metal on when engraved. This metal paste is charge at a premium. Without this paste, laser engraving on our machine is not possible.
o If at all, the customer is insistent that the engraving is done on metal with no metal paste we reserve the right, that if the laser beam should flash back onto itself and shatter the lenses or tubes, that the customer is responsible to replacement of such machine part that is damaged / broken. (Approximate cost of machine consumables lens R8500, laser tube R95 000). - GLASS (and or Tumblers)
o should be handled and washed per the manufacturers recommendations (varies by brand; most brands suggest hand wash only). And arrive in a clean state. No refund will be made on glass shattering or breaking from inferior product given to Everything Laser.
o If your engraving requires alignment with a makers mark or other element on the tumbler, there may be an additional fee. - ACRYLIC
o is subject to minor faults or imperfections including, but not limited to, adhesive residue and/or glue marks (which clean off with plastic cleaner), minor scratches (which can usually be removed with plastic scratch remover), vertical striping on edges of cuts, small raised edges on cut lines, minor inaccuracies in start/stop meeting points, horizontal striping within engraved areas, or non-perpendicular edges on cuts (a natural result of how a laser cuts). - LEATHER
o is subject to manufacturer imperfections including, but not limited to, loose threads, varying tightness of snapback fit, colour variations, creases, and such. Colour of engraving is not guaranteed due to leather being a natural product with variations.
INDEMNITY Please note that entering our premises is done so entirely at your own risk and management and staff of everything Laser cannot be held liable for injury, loss or damage. The laser machine and its surrounding area are totally out of bounds. Only authorised personnel are permitted to touch and come into contact with the machine.
